i feel like blogging...just to take my mind off things. hmm..been studying...trying to grasp organic chem...it's tough...but very very interesting...i do love chem..i intend to do level 2000 organic chem..which i believe is as much as you can go in generic org chem..i'm also intending to take a level 3000 module called organic reaction mechanisms. hahah...cos it really is damn interesting. (: damn tough...but when you get the hang of it..and the concepts make sense..it's deeply satisfying. don't worry..i don't doubt my choice in major because bio will always be more interesting..and a lot more fun. it's less abstract, in a way, and i think i'll never be able to properly teach concepts like reaction kinetics, or equilibria, or inorganic chem, or organic chem for that matter. it's a bit like english...i'll have no patience to teach it because i appreciate it. not that i don't appreciate bio of course, but really...i think bio is a lot easier to teach..less concepts..more theories and facts..less what ifs and hows...more why-s that are easily explained. (:
anyway...i officially start training for inter-faculty touch rugby on the 15th! haha..i'm playing for usp...and well..it'll get me the points i need...maybe it'll increase my metabolic rate..(:
off to learn to plot curves with excel now! hahaha..yes..there's a need to...so i don't have to manually draw them cos i'm lazy to. i don't like sketching curves! (: i like drawing benzene rings and organic coumpounds though...so i'll never learn to do it on word..though my neighbour tried doing it for me last night. haha..it's still in my comp somewhere. (:
oh yes...i rushed back from my morning lecture this morning to catch the magic sch bus..and to my horrors...i found it had been replaced with jimmy neutron! jimmy neutron!! hmph! was so upset. and there's no more smurf...just scooby doo..which i enjoy too. (: cartoons, late night conversations, and the time traveler's wife are about the only things keeping me sane now. hmm..better go..till i next feel like ranting again...
